Parsons School of Design fashion student Ajai Kasim presents a music and fashion explosion featuring a 6-piece capsule collection uniquely synced with his ep, Perfect World.
The Gucci Changemakers X CFDA Scholars award recipient launches Welcome To A Perfect World, a 6-piece capsule collection in synced and in honor of his year old 6-song ep, Perfect World. The collection features unique products inspired by each song on the ep.
This innovative fusion of two creative mediums consists of a burgeoning intellect and creativity, with a particular taste for utilizing the zest of Kasim’s culture.
He created the pieces in collaboration with artist A Loved One, his cousin and collaborator.
The 6 products are a Skateboard, Jacket, Bike/short film, Sweatsuit, Belt, and a Carpet. All were originally crafted by Ajai Kasim, A Loved One, and multiple artists involved in the capsule construction.
* The first object of the 6-piece capsule collection focuses on the song More Ready. The skateboard is an original, hand designed by Kasim, and colored by Malik Byers.*
